Farhat Saeed, Sr. Advisor

A Central Banker having served the Central Bank of Pakistan in various capacities for about 37 years. Retired as Executive Director in 2006. Joined Banking Mohtasib Pakistan in April 2008. Holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, DAIBP and a degree in Law.

 

Anwer A Chaudhry, Sr. Advisor

At least 36-years' experience in domestic as well as international banking in a Commercial Bank with core banking exposure in Retail, Commercial and Corporate environments. Special focus on divergent banking disciplines including Documentary Credits, Risk Management, Correspondent Banking, Treasury Operations and supervision of overseas network. Overseas assignments span over a decade. Heading Risk Management, RBG was his last assignment. Retired in 2008. Joined Banking Mohtasib Pakistan in 2010.

 

S. Faheemuddin Ahmed, Sr. Advisor

About 36 years of banking experience with a Commercial Bank. Bank’s nominee as principal officer and key contact person for handling customer complaints received through the Wafaqi Mohtasib, Central Bank and other agencies. Also served as SVP and General Manager (Service & Internal Control), and Retail Banking. Joined the Banking Mohtasib since its inception in 2005.

 

Muhammad Ali Jangda, Sr. Advisor

A banker with broad and diversified management and leadership experience, spanning over 30 years in Commercial and Consumer Banking with key foreign banks operating in Pakistan. Has exposure in varied banking domains including Operations, Risk & Control, Service Delivery and Technology. 

 Holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IBA (class of 1984), Karachi. Last assignment was Head of Consumer Banking Operations, with a foreign bank, joined Banking Mohtasib in April 2016.

 

Saleem Akhtar, Sr. Legal Advisor 

A lawyer with over 35 years of professional experience. Served the Central Bank of Pakistan for 22 years. He took early retirement in 2010 while serving the Central Bank in the capacity of Legal Advisor thereafter joined Banking Mohtasib Pakistan in the same year as Legal Advisor and was promoted as Sr. Legal Advisor in 2011.


 

Shahid Mahmud, Sr. Advisor

Enrolled as Advocate of High Court in 1984, before joining the Central Bank as Law Officer in 1988. At the Central Bank, worked in the Legal Services and Banking Policy and Requlations Department. Also served as Legal Advisor and Head Legal Services, General Counsel's Office. Joined the Banking Mohtasib Pakistan as Advisor in August 2019 and promoted as Senior Legal Advisor in July 2025.

 

Mushtaq Ahmed, Sr. Advisor

Worked in a commercial bank for 27 years, Served as Manager at different banking branches of the Bank for over 14 years and worked as a Corporate Banker for more than 6 years. Remained Head of CAD in Corporate Banking.Served for 4 years as Team Leader (Investigation) at the Head Office, Karachi. Joined the Banking Mohtasib Pakistan as Advisor in April 2007 and promoted as Senior Advisor in July 2025.

 

Muhammad Yousuf Imran, Sr. Advisor

Senior Banker with more than 40 years diversified Banking Experience in various position in commercial Banks. Worked all over the Pakistan in diverse banking domains including Branch Banking, Foreign Trade, Risk Management, Credit processing, Project Financing, Consumer Financing, Assets Remedial, and litigation at senior position such as Branch Manager, Area Head, Regional Head, and General Manager. Holds Master’s Degree in Economics, Political Science, LLB and DAIBP. Joined the Banking Mohtasib Secretariat in December 2020 as Advisor, and promoted as Senior Advisor in July 2025.

 

Talat Munir, Advisor

About 30 years of experience with a commercial bank. Worked in Recovery, Law and Litigation Department, Head office, Karachi. Responsible for investigation, recovery and follow-up of cases through Advocates of the Bank. Worked in various departments of general banking at different branches of the Bank. Retired in January 2007 and joined Banking Mohtasib Pakistan in February 2007.

 

Rafiuddin Junejo, Advisor

CEDR – (United Kingdom) Accredited Mediator and a Senior Banker with more than 40 years of Banking Experience in various positions and assignments out of which 16 years as Head Litigation (Country Wise Function) and six months as Advisor – Litigation in a Commercial Bank. Holds Master Degree in Economics, MBA Executive and LLB Degree.After retirement from the position of General Manager (EVP), joined Banking Mohtasib Secretariat in March 2016 as Advisor.

 

Noman Qureshi, Advisor

A Chartered Accountant (FCA) having over 36 years’ experience in financial institutions and Central Bank heading areas of Finance, Treasury, Audit & Risk Management. Remained on the Board of Directors of Public Sector listed companies. Represented the Central Bank as a Member on the Quality Assurance Board of ICAP. Retired as Executive Director of the Central Bank in May 2016 and joined the Banking Mohtasib Secretariat as Advisor in May 2019.

 

Nawroz Mohammad Ali, Advisor

Fellow of Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, qualified in 1993.Worked in senior positions with various financial institutions, including a microfinance bank, a commercial bank and the Central Bank from 1997 to 2017. Served in the capacity of Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee of a microfinance bank in Afghanistan from 2015-2019. Also, on the Board of FOCUS Humanitarian Assistance since 2012. Also served as a visiting Faculty with NUST, Islamabad. Currently working with the Banking Mohtasib Pakistan as an Advisor.

 

Ali Hussain Brohi, Advisor

Rich and diversified portfolio with over 30 years of experience in different departments of the Central Bank. Served as Chief Manager Hyderabad & Quetta Offices of the Central Bank. His services were placed on deputation with Pakistan Security Printing Corporation as Executive Director in June 2017. Also nominated as Member on the Board of Directors of Security Papers Limited (an Associated Company of PSPC) and subsequently appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Security Papers Limited. Holds Master’s degree in Economics, MBA from IBA, Karachi and DAIBP. Joined the Banking Mohtasib Pakistan as Advisor in December, 2020 after retirement from the Central Bank.

 

Aijaz Hussain, Advisor

Well-qualified professional Career Banker with diversified management and leadership experience spanning over 39   years in Commercial and Consumer Banking in a leading Bank. Has vast exposure in varied banking domains, including Operations, Risk   & Control and Service Delivery. Also served as Area Branch Manager, Deputy General Manager Branch Banking and Operations,   as well as Head Centralized Clearing, Centralized Fixed Deposit and Public Investment Department (country wide function). Holds Master’s degree in Business Administration and degree in Law and DAIBP. After retirement in July 2020; joined the Banking Mohtasib Secretariat in December 2020 as an Advisor.

 

 Yameen Farooqui, Advisor

Capable to identify and implement process improvements that increase correctness, reliability and competence to work for problem   resolution. Having expanded management and leadership experience spanning cover 38 years in a Commercial Bank. Vast exposure in banking fields, including Audit, Operations, and Business Compliance. Served as Senior Auditor, Regional Operational Head, General   Manger (Operations -South) & Head Business Compliance. Also served the Bank in the capacity of SVP. After retirement in September 2023; joined the Banking Mohtasib Secretariat in February 2024 as an Advisor.

 

 Aamir Ali, Advisor

Joined the institution of Banking Mohtasib Pakistan in 2015 as Assistant Director (Investigation) and promoted as Deputy Director (Investigation) in 2025. Within a span of 11 years, in 2026 became the youngest Advisor in the history of the institution of Banking Mohtasib Pakistan. Holds BBA and MBA degree in Finance and is committed to strengthening consumer confidence, institutional integrity, and good governance within Pakistan's banking sector.

 

 Bisma Aslam, Advisor

A seasoned legal, corporate governance, and banking professional with over 30 years of distinguished experience across public, private and social sector organizations. A PICG Certified Director, holds an Executive MBA from IBA, Karachi, MBA in Banking & Finance (Gold Medalist), LLB, and a Master’s in Economics. Her extensive career includes serving as Assistant Vice President of Legal & Corporate Affairs at a Commercial Bank. Joined the Banking Mohtasib’s Secretariat as an Advisor in August 2026.
